Job summary

Brunswick County's Information Technology Department is seeking an IT Business Analyst to research and define complex user problems, liaise with subject matter experts and manufacturers, and develop and maintain software solutions. The role includes serving as SharePoint Administrator and ensuring integrated applications meet department needs.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with five years of related programming and applications experience, or

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or closely related field, and five (5) years of related programming and applications experience; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• MS SharePoint experience is required.
• Familiarity with MS Power Platform and Power BI preferred.
• Must possess a valid North Carolina or South Carolina driver license.
• Excellent problem-solving, client management/interpersonal, and communication skills; ability to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Research, analyze, and define complex user problems and requirements.
• Act as liaison between department SMEs and manufacturers for successful integration and implementation of applications.
• Developing and maintaining solutions and associated procedures.
• Serve as SharePoint Administrator.
