Job summary

U.S. Department of State in Washington, DC seeks an IT Business Analyst/Project Manager to drive HVA compliance and modernization of information systems for the Office of International Visitors and U.S. Speaker Program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum three (3) years of professional IT project management, business analysis, cybersecurity compliance, or related experience.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and security control implementation.
• Experience with business process analysis, requirements gathering, and IT modernization.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive systems analysis and modernization for DOS/OIV IT environments.
• Manage HVA compliance activities and data calls for IVLP systems.
• Coordinate with HVA Oversight Team on assessments, reporting, and remediation plans.
• Develop functional/technical requirements and support system development and testing.
• Prepare technical documentation, diagrams, and training materials.
