Qualifications

• 3-5 years of business analyst, systems analyst, data analyst, or technology-focused experience.
• Strong understanding of database structures, tables, data types, and data integrity concepts.
• Experience with reporting, BI, or data-related projects.
• Ability to gather requirements and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience supporting SaaS applications and enterprise business systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with enterprise data warehouse implementation and support consultant-led initiatives.
• Perform data cleansing, validation, and data quality analysis.
• Gather, organize, and document data requirements with business units.
• Define data structures, classifications, and standards across systems.
• Support SaaS applications including DealCloud, Juniper Square, Sage Intacct, Ramp, SharePoint, and related platforms.
• Create reports, dashboards, and analytics to drive decision-making.
• Assist with Power BI reporting initiatives.
• Use Power Automate and AI tools to improve workflows and processes.
• Collaborate on future AI, dashboarding, and automation projects across the organization.
• Provide application support, user administration, and access management.

Job Title: IT Business Analyst – Data & Technology Transformation

The Opportunity:

This is a newly prioritized technology hire that will work directly with the Vice President of Technology to support a major enterprise data initiative. The organization is in the process of evaluating and standing up a modern data warehouse environment and is seeking someone who can bridge the gap between business stakeholders and external consultants throughout the implementation process.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of database structures, data quality, and business systems while also serving as a key resource to business teams as data is collected, cleansed, organized, and ultimately leveraged for reporting, analytics, automation, and AI initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, working closely with leadership, and contributing to projects that will significantly impact the firm’s technology roadmap.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist with enterprise data warehouse implementation and support consultant-led initiatives
• Perform data cleansing, validation, and data quality analysis

What You’ll Bring:

• 3-5 years of business analyst, systems analyst, data analyst, or technology-focused experience
• Strong understanding of database structures, tables, data types, and data integrity concepts
• Experience working with reporting, business intelligence, or data-related projects
• Ability to gather requirements and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience supporting SaaS applications and enterprise business systems
• Familiarity with Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint, and Microsoft technologies
• Exposure to AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms
• Strong problem-solving skills and a self-starter mentality

Preferred Experience:

• Snowflake
• Microsoft Fabric
• Data warehouse projects
• Business intelligence and dashboard development
• Commercial real estate, private equity, asset management, or financial services environments

Work Environment:

• Primarily onsite environment
• One remote day per week available
• Additional flexibility available on a case-by-case basis
• Collaborative culture with significant in-person interaction across business units

Compensation:

• Target salary range: $80,000 – $90,000
