Job summary

Labcorp is seeking an IT Business Analyst Intern to join our Finance Team in Burlington, NC with a hybrid work schedule. The 11-week paid internship runs June 1, 2027–August 13, 2027, offering hands-on projects and exposure to business analysis, requirements gathering, and cross-functional collaboration.

You'll work with business leaders and IT teams to document requirements, support project delivery, and explore AI to improve processes.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program.
• Working towards a degree in Business Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Familiarity with project management principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with Lucidchart for process and workflow mapping.
• Familiarity with Smartsheet.
• Experience with Jira is preferred.
• Previous project management experience is preferred.
• Interest in leveraging technology and emerging tools to improve business processes.

Responsibilities

• Support business analysis activities and requirements gathering for technology and process improvement initiatives.
• Partner with business leaders, IT teams, development teams, testing teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to support project delivery.
• Assist with documenting business requirements, processes, and workflows.
• Support technology solutions that align with business and organizational objectives.
• Contribute to internal process improvement initiatives.
• Assist with project activities from requirements gathering through implementation.
• Explore opportunities to leverage emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), to improve business processes and operational efficiency.
