Job summary

Minnesota IT Services (MNIT) seeks an IT Advanced Business Analyst to join the HSDS team, supporting agencies like DHS and MNsure. The role focuses on business analysis, QA, and coordinating across project teams to deliver complex IT solutions.

The position requires 4+ years in IT BA, strong documentation, and stakeholder collaboration. This is a hybrid role with on-site requirements in St. Paul and optional telework based on residence and policy.

Qualifications

• Minimum four (4) years of IT business analysis experience.
• Experience with requirements elicitation, business process modeling, gap analysis, and validation.
• Experience in enterprise-scale software development and testing environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, and negotiation skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and business partners.

Responsibilities

• Perform business analysis, QA, design, development, and implementation support.
• Act as liaison to understand structure, policies, and operations; document requirements.
• Coordinate with development teams and users on changes and releases.
• Mentor and guide junior staff in QA/BA activities.
