Signet Jewelers Limited is seeking an IT Business Analyst in Akron, OH. The role partners with business stakeholders to translate needs into practical technology solutions, documenting requirements, and supporting solution delivery.

You will work with IT teams, vendors, and business users to ensure aligned outcomes and successful implementations. Responsibilities include requirements gathering, process documentation, data analysis using SQL, and supporting testing and deployment across projects

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
5+ years of related business analysis or IT experience.
Experience with SDLC methodologies (Agile/Waterfall).
Experience writing SQL queries and working with data.
Retail IT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Partner with business stakeholders to understand needs and desired outcomes.
Gather and document requirements via interviews, workshops, and meetings.
Analyze systems, processes, workflows, and data to identify gaps and opportunities.
Translate requirements into clear functional and technical specifications for IT.
Develop and maintain business processes, use cases, and business rules.
Identify dependencies, risks, and impacts of proposed solutions.
Support testing, implementation, and change management activities.
Provide end-user support and training as needed.
