Job summary

Adient plc seeks an IT Business Analyst to bridge IT and business stakeholders within Engineering and Program Management. You will translate needs into clear requirements, support solution design, and help ensure adoption of IT solutions that improve efficiency and compliance.

You will facilitate requirements gatherings, document processes, and contribute to testing and UAT, with opportunities to lead smaller projects and drive continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT, CS, or related field.
3–7 years of BA/IT analysis experience supporting technology-enabled business change.
Strong elicitation, mapping, and requirement-traceability skills.
Experience with enterprise systems, data flows, reporting, and SDLC practices.
Familiarity with tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, Power BI, Visio.

Responsibilities

Facilitate interviews, workshops, and sessions to capture business needs and requirements.
Document current-state and future-state processes, identify gaps and improvements.
Prepare BRDs, functional specs, user stories, use cases, flows, and acceptance criteria.
Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure feasible and aligned solutions.
Support planning, testing, and user acceptance to ensure smooth go-live.
Lead small-to-medium projects and assist with change adoption activities.
