Qualifications

• 10+ years of demonstrated business analysis experience in complex IT/technology environments.
• Strong requirements elicitation, interviewing, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and related collaboration tools.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Visio for process mapping, workflow documentation, and diagrams.
• Experience working with technical SMEs across infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, or IT disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions, interviews, and workshops with IT teams and County stakeholders.
• Inventory existing technical, operational, security, system, and recovery documentation.
• Analyze and document current-state business and IT processes, workflows, roles, dependencies, and pain points.
• Create process maps, workflow diagrams, data/process flows, inventories, matrices using Visio and 365.
• Identify documentation gaps, single points of knowledge, risks, inconsistencies, and standardization opportunities.
• Gather and prioritize requirements for SOPs, runbooks, knowledge articles, and system documentation.
• Translate SME knowledge into structured source material and collaborate with the Technical Writer.
• Facilitate review and validation sessions to ensure accurate reflection of operations.
• Maintain a documentation backlog, status tracking, priorities, ownership, and dependencies.
• Support standards, templates, governance, ownership, review cycles, and repository organization.
