Job summary

Amarr, part of ASSA ABLOY, seeks an IT Business Analyst for our Winston-Salem, NC office. You will gather, analyze, and document business needs for technology initiatives, working with stakeholders, developers, and testers to ensure solutions deliver measurable value.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of BA experience, strong requirements elicitation/docu­mentation, and proficiency with Agile/Scrum, Azure DevOps, Visio, and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 5+ years of BA experience in business and technology projects.
• Experience eliciting and documenting requirements.
• Experience creating user stories, process maps, use cases, and specifications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Proficiency with Office tools like Visio or Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to identify business needs and define project objectives.
• Gather, document, and manage business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and requirements-gathering sessions.
• Create user stories, process flows, workflow diagrams, and BRDs.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, and project managers throughout the lifecycle.
• Analyze existing processes and recommend improvements.
• Support solution design, testing, and user acceptance activities.
• Manage requirement traceability and change requests.
• Assist with training materials, documentation, and end-user adoption.
• Provide status updates and communicate risks, issues, and dependencies.
