Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Business Analyst II to bridge business needs with technology, analyzing processes and gathering requirements to deliver efficient solutions. You will work with cross-functional teams in an agile setting to define user stories, document requirements, and facilitate workshops for successful project delivery.

The role emphasizes strong data analysis, UAT, and ERP system experience (SAP/JD Edwards), with travel 5-25% as needed and an office-based work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 2+ years in business analysis, requirements gathering, and process improvement.
• Preferred fields of study: Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
• Proficiency in agile methodologies and project management principles
• Advanced skills in data analysis and reporting using Excel, Power BI, SQL
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and other project management/documentation tools
• Excellent requirements gathering and documentation capabilities. Procure to Pay functional knowledge preferred.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills for leading workshops and stakeholder meetings
• Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
• Experience creating user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria
• Proficiency in conducting user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, JD Edwards) preferred.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Travel may be required (5-25%)
