Job summary

Forvis Mazars, LLP, a leading US-based professional services firm, seeks a Senior Consultant for SOC and HITRUST to strengthen client control environments and protect sensitive data across industries.

You will support SOC readiness assessments, review testing procedures, mentor junior staff, and help grow the practice through strong client relationships and continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of SOC-related experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Support SOC 1, SOC 2, and SOC 3 readiness assessments and examinations.
• Review testing procedures and results for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Support leadership with staffing, resource allocation, and scheduling.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of assurance and compliance standards.
• Deliver high-quality work and build strong client/team relationships.
• Identify opportunities and support strategic initiatives for practice growth.
• Provide mentorship and training to consultants as needed.
• Enhance engagement processes and methodologies to improve efficiency.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by firm leadership.
