Highmark Health Summer 2027 Undergraduate IT Audit Internship offers hands-on experience across IT audit, cybersecurity, data privacy, risk management, and governance. Interns will work with IT Audit, Information Security, Privacy, Risk Management, and business teams to evaluate controls protecting assets and sensitive information.

Interns gain exposure to HIPAA compliance, system implementations, and audit methodologies while contributing to real projects that support overall risk management

Qualifications

• Full or part-time enrollment in an accredited college or university baccalaureate program.

Responsabilités

• Support IT assurance and advisory engagements, assessing technology and security risks.
• Perform research and analysis, and document audit results.
• Develop recommendations or action plans for process improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to support risk management objectives.
