Wings Credit Union is seeking a Director of IT Audit to lead technology risk assurance across the organization. Reporting to the VP of Internal Audit, you will develop the IT audit strategy, build a high-performing team, and partner with executives to strengthen governance, risk management, and controls.

This senior role balances strategic vision with hands-on delivery in a dynamic financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, IT operations, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive internal audit, risk management, or regulatory supervision experience.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience.
• IT audit experience in financial services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT audit universe, risk assessment, and audit strategy for technology, cybersecurity, data, and operations.
• Oversee risk-based audit plans, advisory work, and continuous monitoring aligned with regulatory expectations.
• Manage audit execution, resource planning, milestones, and quality standards.
• Drive continuous improvement in audit processes, methodologies, and reporting.
• Develop, coach, and grow a high-performing IT Audit team.
• Partner with executives to translate risk findings into actionable recommendations.
