Job summary

Texas Dow Employees Credit Union seeks a Director – Internal Audit Information Technology to lead and oversee IT audit activities, including coordinating with external auditors and ensuring regulatory compliance. You will assess IT controls, map risk, and drive improvements across the organization.

The role requires strong leadership, a strategic view of IT risk, and the ability to translate complex technical issues for senior management; three days on-site in Sugar Land, TX under a hybrid work

Qualifications

• Ten years of experience as an IT internal auditor in a financial institution or related organization.
• Senior level audit management experience.
• Seven to ten years of supervisory/ managerial experience.
• Proficiency in IT COBIT, NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CFS), Information Security Management, and internal audit standards.

Responsibilities

• Partner with management to develop innovative controls and risk mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate IT audit work with external audit firms and internal teams.
• Lead development and execution of an IT audit plan based on risk assessments.
• Monitor management action plans and report to Board Audit Committee.
• Oversee IT vendor management and audit engagements.
