Job summary

Peraton seeks an Asset Manager at Fort Benning, GA to lead IT asset lifecycle governance under a DoD contract. You will define a comprehensive strategy, establish KPIs, and coordinate with ITSM processes to optimize asset utilization and compliance.

The role requires a TS/SCI clearance and history in enterprise IT asset management, with focus on policy development, lifecycle control, and ROI-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in an IT asset management position.
• TS/SCI clearance required.
• Ability to develop and maintain asset lifecycle policies.
• Experience with DoD or large enterprise IT contracts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set and define a comprehensive Asset Management Strategy with the customer, including goals and KPI/metrics.
• Develop and maintain policies for acquisition, deployment, utilization, de-installation, reallocation and disposal of IT assets.
• Integrate ITAM with IT Service Management processes (Configuration, Incident, Change, Problem).
• Drive ROI and efficiency through analytics, licensing strategy and process discipline.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and standards for IT assets.
• Oversee lifecycle tracking from procurement to retirement and ensure on-time delivery of IT Asset Management deliverables.
• Manage shipping, disposal processes, and conduct audits (RCA) for noncompliance and continuous improvements.
