Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking a Procurement Analyst to support application management and IT coordination at the Distribution Center Receiving in Springfield, MO. The role focuses on ensuring systems run smoothly, addressing issues promptly, and working with warehouse and central services on stocking and item accuracy.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of related experience, strong communication, and proficiency with Excel, Word, Lawson, and database management.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3–5 years related experience preferred for Procurement Analyst roles.
  • Strong communication and computer skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for application management and coordination with IT to keep systems up to date.
  • Troubleshoots with staff to determine root cause of irregularities.
  • Collaborates with warehouse and central services to set stocking levels and ensure correct items.
  • Supports CoxHealth purchasing operations to ensure smooth processes.

Work Hours & Shift

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Work Shift: Day Shift (United States of America)

Job Description

Responsible for application management. Works closely with IT to ensure that all systems are running and kept up to date, addressing issues as they arise and alerting the appropriate parties. Troubleshoots with staff when irregularities arise to determine root cause. Works with warehouse and central services to determine appropriate stocking levels of products and to ensure the correct items are added correctly. The Procurement Analyst has a plethora of duties that all help ensure that CoxHealth purchasing runs smoothly.

Education
  • Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Preferred: Bachelors in a Related Field
Experience
  • Required: 3-5 Years Related Experience
Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams.
  • Self starter.
  • Proficient in computers and computer systems
  • Experience with Excel and Word programs.
  • Previous experience with Lawson and data base management
