Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware and components.
• Ability to identify components such as processors, RAM, HDDs, SSDs, and power supplies.
• Strong attention to detail when recording asset information.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Able to lift and move electronic equipment.
• Travel to customer locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming electronic equipment.
• Create detailed asset reports recording manufacturer, model, serial number, and other required information.
• Identify computer components such as processors, RAM, HDDs, SSDs, and other hardware.
• Remove HDDs and SSDs from devices.
• Operate hard drive and SSD shredding equipment per procedures.
• Test devices to determine functionality and resale potential.
• Label equipment, pallets, containers, and orders to maintain inventory and chain of custody.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Ensure sensitive data is handled securely and in compliance with policy.
• Assist with loading/unloading and staging equipment in the warehouse.
• Travel to customer sites for on-site asset processing.
