Job summary

Intratek Computer, Inc. in Dallas/Fort Worth is seeking an experienced IT Asset Management Specialist to lead the lifecycle management, accuracy of inventories, and compliance of enterprise hardware and software assets.

You will administer ServiceNow HAM and SAM modules, conduct asset audits, generate reports, and collaborate with IT and procurement to optimize usage and licensing. This 12+ month contract is onsite, with standard business hours and free parking.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with IT asset management processes and ServiceNow HAM/SAM modules.
• Strong understanding of hardware and software asset lifecycles and compliance.
• Experience generating reports and metrics for asset inventory and utilization.

Responsibilities

Duration: 12+ Months (Potential Extension)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Hours: 40 Hours per Week
Pay Rate: Depends on Experience

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Asset Management Specialist to support the management, tracking, lifecycle administration, and compliance of enterprise IT assets. This role is critical to ensuring the efficient utilization of hardware and software assets while maintaining compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.

The ideal candidate will possess strong experience with IT Asset Management processes and ServiceNow Asset Management modules, including both Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM). This position plays a key role in reducing operational inefficiencies, improving asset visibility, and supporting cost optimization initiatives across the organization.

Required Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience with ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM).
• Strong understanding of IT hardware and software asset lifecycle processes.
• Experience managing enterprise asset inventories and compliance activities.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in large enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of software licensing compliance and audit processes.
• Familiarity with ITIL best practices and IT service management processes.
• ServiceNow certifications related to Asset Management are a plus.
