Job summary

Brookdale Senior Living is seeking a seasoned IT leader to oversee the procurement, deployment, and lifecycle management of all end-user IT hardware, peripherals, and software licenses. Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT operations or asset management.
• 2+ years leading technical teams or system administrators.
• Deep familiarity with ITAM tools (ServiceNow, Ivanti).
• Strong understanding of endpoint administration (AD, Azure AD/Entra ID, MDM like Intune).
• Experience in budgeting, reviewing quotes, and PO approvals.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with vendors and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement, deployment, and lifecycle management of all end-user IT hardware, peripherals, and software licenses.
• Lead the System Administration team to ensure efficient daily operations and device uptime.
• Balance financial accountability with technical leadership, including PO approvals and vendor management.
• Develop and document SOPs for asset deployment, refresh cycles, and device disposal.
• Mentor System Administrators and provide escalation support for complex issues.
• Govern endpoint security and ensure patch compliance across devices.
• Manage ITAM database, inventory tracking from procurement to disposal.

Base pay in range will be determined by applicant's skills and experience. Full-time associates in role are also eligible for an annual bonus incentive. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company's 401(k) program.

Education and Experience

Experience: 5+ years in IT operations or asset management, with 2+ years of experience leading technical teams or system administrators.

Asset Tracking: Deep familiarity with ITAM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, or Ivanti).

System Knowledge: Strong understanding of endpoint administration (e.g., Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra ID, MDM tools like Intune or Tanium).

Financial Acumen: Proven experience managing budgets, reviewing quotes, and processing PO approvals.

Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with vendors, lead technical staff, and report to senior leadership.

Approve Purchase Orders (POs) for IT hardware, software licenses, and peripherals within budget. Manage the equipment refresh process, creating standard schedules for laptop, desktop, and mobile upgrades. Maintain the IT Asset Management (ITAM) database, ensuring exact tracking of inventory from procurement to disposal. Manage relationships with hardware vendors, software publishers, and leasing partners Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for asset deployment, refresh cycles, and device disposal. Analyze operational metrics to improve team response times and asset efficiency.
