First Citizens in Raleigh, NC seeks an Asset Management specialist to oversee the full hardware lifecycle for end-user devices, maintain inventory, and support ITSM governance. You will implement asset controls within a regulated banking environment and collaborate with infrastructure teams to optimize hardware workflows.

The role requires experience with ServiceNow HAM, SCCM, Active Directory, and enterprise mobility tools, plus strong attention to data accuracy and cross-team communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 4 years' experience in systems engineering and systems programmer OR High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent and 8 years' experience in systems engineering and systems programmer.
• Experience using ServiceNow to track and manage IT assets and tickets is preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel for data analysis, reporting, and inventory management.
• Active Directory expertise for managing and tracking associate employment.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy in large asset datasets.
• Ability to document procedures clearly for team use and audits.
• Excellent communication and time management to prioritize tasks across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Review hardware requests and assess needs to align with FCB hardware standards.
• Evaluate purchasing requirements using reporting, analytics, and inventory data.
• Configure, deploy, and manage the full hardware lifecycle for end-user devices.
• Ensure requests are reviewed, assigned, and fulfilled within SLAs.
• Maintain adequate hardware inventory to support operations and DR requirements.
• Assist associates with the hardware ordering process and escalate issues to ITSM and governance teams.
• Collaborate with IT Service Management and governance to enhance hardware workflows.
• Coordinate asset management activities (pickup, reclamation, quality checks, requests).
• Work with infrastructure teams on process improvements for Asset Management.
• Apply asset controls and IT security practices in a regulated financial environment.
• Utilize ServiceNow HAM and related workflows for asset tracking and issue resolution.
• Support and administer Windows, macOS, iOS/iPadOS, and enterprise mobility platforms.
