Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking an IT Asset Specialist for a 12-24 month project in Fairlawn, OH on-site. You will receive equipment, log it, maintain hardware lifecycle and IT asset inventory, and perform audits and returns processing.

The role requires data center/tech environment experience, strong Excel/Outlook, and ability to communicate with internal customers and vendors. High school diploma required; benefits include comprehensive plans and 401K with company match.

Qualifications

• Experience in data center or tech environment.
• Manage multiple projects and assign tasks.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Experience with inventory software like SAP or Excel IFS.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate inventory counts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal/external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Receive equipment and log into inventory.
• Maintain hardware lifecycle and IT asset inventory.
• Process damaged/defective returns.
• Track lifecycle, maintenance and decommissioning of IT assets.
• Ensure standards and controls are followed.
• Perform audits and inventory reviews.
• Assist with troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Verify shipments/receipts via terminal.
• Enter material transactions for DB accuracy.
