Job summary

CornerStone Technology Talent Services is seeking an IT Asset Management Technician to support software licensing, asset management, and process documentation within an enterprise IT environment. You will work with the software management team to administer licenses, process requests, and maintain accurate inventories.

Ideal for an organized, early-career IT professional comfortable with Excel, able to implement standard procedures, and develop experience with enterprise licensing and IT asset

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in IT support or IT asset management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel including formulas, sorting, VLOOKUP or XLOOKUP, and pivot tables.
• Hands-on experience with at least one enterprise software administration portal (Microsoft 365 Admin Center or Adobe Admin Console).
• Strong written communication and documentation skills.
• Proficiency with Word, Outlook and Teams.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple requests.

Responsibilities

• Administer software licenses and reconcile licenses for Microsoft, Adobe, Canva and others.
• Process software requests from intake to fulfillment, verify approvals, coordinate installations.
• Maintain software license inventories and entitlement records in Excel and asset tools.
• Reconcile portal counts against purchased licenses and entitlements.
• Track renewals, true-ups and expiring subscriptions and communicate actions.
• Assist with recovery and access requests per procedures.
• Review and update software management documentation and retire outdated procedures.
• Create and maintain SOPs, desk guides, and job aids.
• Document processes to capture workflows end to end.
• Respond to internal questions and escalate when needed.
• Prepare periodic license usage and compliance reports in Excel.
