Custom Computer Specialists, Inc. is seeking an IT Technician to support the technology lifecycle program, including deployment, staging, and retirement of end‑user devices.

Travel throughout New York City boroughs and to HQ on Long Island is required, with a daytime shift and flexibility for schedule changes. You will gain hands‑on experience with asset lifecycle management, endpoint management solutions, and technical refresh initiatives, while receiving mentorship and opportunities for

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience supporting computer hardware deployments or asset management.
• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and computer hardware.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain accurate inventory and asset records.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate enterprise technology refresh and end‑of‑life replacement projects for devices.
• Stage, configure, asset tag, test, and prepare equipment for deployment.
• Deploy replacement equipment and recover retired devices with minimal disruption.
• Assist with inventory audits and warehouse organization.
• Provide Day 2 support following deployments and help end users with issues.
• Coordinate the collection and return of EOL equipment to HQ for inventory processing.
• Maintain accurate lifecycle documentation and asset records.
