Job summary

DMD Systems Recovery, LLC is seeking a Sort Technician to accurately capture details of every IT asset received and log them into our system. The role guides the next phase of the process based on item type, condition, and customer needs, drawing on decision matrices to maximize asset value.

You will organize equipment by type or value, separate items for resale or recycling, and contribute recommendations to improve throughput and outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Computer basics including data entry.
• Must have great communication skills, be detailed-oriented, and consistency.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Capture associated IT asset data and enter into our system
• Determine the next phase of the process for each item
• Organize equipment based on type, value, or other criteria as necessary
• Separate items based on resale or recycle
• Recommendations and actions to improve the department and outcomes
• Offsite projects as appropriate
• Other duties as necessary and assigned
