Job summary

MCPC is seeking a Configuration & Logistics Technician in Edgerton, KS to handle secure IT device configuration, provisioning, and shipment. Responsibilities include packing, inventory control, and ensuring quality and timely order processing, while following documented procedures.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and forklift/pallet jack operation. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, proficiency with MS Office, and strong organization and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Strong problem-solving, organization, time-management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare shipments, select containers, pack items securely, and operate forklifts/pallet jacks; may drive deliveries.
• Use scan guns for picking/receiving, perform cycle counts, and assemble basic equipment kits per customer requirements.
• Create bills of lading, verify shipments against work orders, inspect for damage, and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain a secure warehouse and assist with general facility upkeep.
• Develop service documents and follow departmental procedures; identify process improvements.
• Provision, configure, clean, test, and repair IT devices per detailed instructions.
• Resolve low to medium complexity issues independently; escalate higher complexity to leads.
• Inspect devices for functionality and cleanliness; ensure readiness for deployment.
• Collaborate with leadership and assist with other duties as assigned.
