Job summary

MCPC is seeking a Configuration & Logistics Technician to securely handle, configure, and ship IT devices. You will provision, repair, and test devices while maintaining inventory accuracy and following documented procedures.

You will prepare shipments, manage pick/pack operations, and use scanners and basic equipment. Collaboration with leadership and adherence to quality standards are essential for timely order processing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent organization, time-management, and communication abilities.
• Experience with ticket management and inventory management systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare shipments, select containers, pack securely, and operate forklifts/pallet jacks; may drive company vehicles.
• Use scan guns for picking/receiving, perform cycle counts, and assemble basic equipment kits per customer requirements.
• Create bills of lading, verify shipments against work orders, inspect for damage, and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain a secure warehouse and assist with general facility upkeep.
• Develop service documents and identify process improvements; follow departmental procedures.
• Provision, configure, clean, test, and repair IT devices according to detailed instructions.
• Resolve low to medium complexity issues independently; escalate higher complexity problems as needed.
• Inspect devices for functionality and cleanliness; ensure readiness for deployment.
• Collaborate with leadership and assist with other duties as assigned.

Configuration & Logistics Technician

Position Summary:

• This position is responsible for the secure and efficient handling, configuration, and shipment of IT devices and equipment. The position involves provisioning and repairing devices, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring timely order processing. It requires adherence to documented procedures, collaboration with leadership, and a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

• Use scan guns for picking/receiving, perform cycle counts, and assemble basic equipment kits per customer requirements.

• Timely and accurate processing of orders to maintain Service Level Objectives set in place by MCPC.
• Consistently follow documented processes to maintain a high degree of quality in output and customer satisfaction.
• All work must be completed in a timely and efficient manner.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in a related field is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated organization, time-management, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 Years of experience or relevant training or certifications.
• Experience using ticket management systems and inventory management systems.

Physical Requirements:

• Lifting requirements of up to 50 lbs.
• May require standing for long periods of time.
• Vision must be fair enough under a strong light.
• Able to operate a pallet jack
