MCPC is seeking a Configuration & Logistics Technician in Edgerton, KS to handle secure IT device configuration, provisioning, and shipment. Responsibilities include packing, inventory control, and ensuring quality and timely order processing, while following documented procedures.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and forklift/pallet jack operation. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, proficiency with MS Office, and strong organization and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus.
Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Strong problem-solving, organization, time-management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare shipments, select containers, pack items securely, and operate forklifts/pallet jacks; may drive deliveries.
Use scan guns for picking/receiving, perform cycle counts, and assemble basic equipment kits per customer requirements.
Create bills of lading, verify shipments against work orders, inspect for damage, and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain a secure warehouse and assist with general facility upkeep.
Develop service documents and follow departmental procedures; identify process improvements.
Provision, configure, clean, test, and repair IT devices per detailed instructions.
Resolve low to medium complexity issues independently; escalate higher complexity to leads.
Inspect devices for functionality and cleanliness; ensure readiness for deployment.
Collaborate with leadership and assist with other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

The position involves provisioning and repairing devices, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring timely order processing. It requires adherence to documented procedures, collaboration with leadership, and a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Timely and accurate processing of orders to maintain Service Level Objectives set in place by MCPC.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in a related field is a plus.
Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated organization, time-management, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

2 Years of experience or relevant training or certifications.
Experience using ticket management systems and inventory management systems.

Physical Requirements

Lifting requirements of up to 50 lbs.
May require standing for long periods of time.
Vision must be fair enough under a strong light.
Able to operate a pallet jack
