Responsibilities

• Oversee the Custom Applications Unit within IT, guiding staff across development and production support for custom, COTS and SaaS/PaaS applications.
• Apply SDLC standards and best practices to direct staff and projects; act as Technical Project Manager for small-to-large projects.
• Provide direction on resource allocation, performance standards, and staff development; maintain relationships with Caltrans leadership, state agencies, vendors and stakeholders.
