Blue Cross of Idaho seeks IT Applications Engineers to design, develop, maintain, support, and document software systems and infrastructure for membership and billing, with a hybrid work setup (Meridian Idaho onsite and local WFH).
Qualifications include a Bachelor’s in CS/EE/IS or related field (or equivalent work experience), plus 1–2+ years in IT engineering, with familiarity in Agile, ServiceNow, Jira, SQL, Facets, and AI tools such as Claude.
Our IT Applications Engineers design, develop, maintain, support, document, test, and/or debug new and existing software systems, applications, and/or technical infrastructure related to membership and billing.
Location: this position offers a hybrid work location (onsite at Meridian Idaho campus and local WFH). For candidates outside of Idaho, there may be opportunity for fully remote work location within the Mountain West.
As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay range is $78,064 to 117,095 (Engineer I); $96,183 to $144,275 (Engineer II). The position is eligible for an annual incentive bonus (variable depending on company and employee performance). The pay range for this position takes into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, travel requirements, internal equity, business or organizational needs, and alignment with market data. At Blue Cross of Idaho, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top range for the position. Compensation decisions are dependent on factors and circumstances at the time of offer.
