Job summary

Family Dollar in Chesapeake, VA is seeking a Manager, IT Application Development to lead planning, delivery, and ongoing support of enterprise store technology solutions across its retail footprint. You will manage internal teams and external partners to deliver reliable, secure applications that support store operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing internal teams and external development vendors.
• Strong project and delivery management skills across complex initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Own intake, prioritization, and delivery of application development initiatives from requirements through deployment.
• Lead and coordinate internal staff, consultants, systems integrators, and hardware/software vendors.
• Provide oversight and technical direction for application development, integrations, and deployments.
• Curate scalable enterprise level solutions that are reliable and optimized for future growth.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, vendor contracts, and change orders.
