Job summary

RJW Transport, Inc. is seeking an Application Administrator to ensure stable, secure operation of enterprise applications and their dependencies. You will coordinate with infrastructure, security, and development teams to manage configuration, monitoring, and change control.

Responsibilities include maintaining application inventories, supporting incident resolution, and creating documentation. Strong Excel and general IT skills are beneficial in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least three years of experience administering enterprise applications.
• Understanding of application functionality, configuration, and dependencies.
• Experience with IT service-support processes and ticketing platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting across apps, OS, database, network, and security domains.
• Working knowledge of databases and basic SQL.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly.
• Ability to work independently with strong prioritization.
• Problem solving with multiple variables in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical administrator for assigned enterprise applications.
• Maintain understanding of each application's purpose, data flows, and dependencies.
• Maintain inventories, diagrams, and documentation for applications.
• Configure application settings, rules, schedules, and user access.
• Coordinate diagnosis with infrastructure and security teams; assess impact.
• Monitor availability, performance, and health metrics; identify trends.
• Define change steps, test plans, and post-change verification.
• Collaborate with security to address vulnerabilities and audit needs.
• Perform routine maintenance and lifecycle planning.
• Create and improve technical documentation.
• Leverage automation and AI-assisted tools to improve support.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
