Job summary

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare is seeking an IT/Application Training professional to coordinate and deliver Epic EHR and related system training across a 6,000+ colleague organization in North Florida.

The role focuses on enforcing training policies, assessing staff needs, and supporting virtual Epic sessions while ensuring materials stay current for end users to perform their jobs effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, IT management, software engineering, computer science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute Epic EHR and third party information system training.
• Communicate and enforce training policies and procedures effectively.
• Complete role analysis to identify training needs for staff and providers; assist with Epic-led virtual trainings.
• Participate in operational readiness activities and ensure training materials are up-to-date.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT

Job Summary:

• Coordinates and executes Epic electronic health records (EHR) and associated third party information system training.
• Responsible for communicating and enforcing training policies and procedures effectively.
• Completes the role analysis process to ensure staff members' and health care providers' training needs are identified and met. Helps IT/Application Training Mgr administer Epic-led virtual training sessions.
• Participates in (and may assist IT/Application Training Mgr in leading) other operational readiness activities.
• Ensures training materials remain up-to-date and relevant for end users to accomplish their jobs effectively.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO APPLY

Required Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, IT management, software engineering, computer engineering, computer science, computer information systems (IS), applied engineering, health information management (HIM), health informatics, nursing informatics, nursing, health science, education, business administration, health care, or a related field.

Human Resources (HR) may accept directly related work experience on a 1-year: 1-year basis for required education.

Required Experience:

• Five (5) years of relevant, job-related work experience

Required Certification/License/Registry:

• Related Epic certification(s) required. Multiple certifications may be required depending on areas of job responsibilities.
• Required certification must be obtained within ninety (90) days from the last class completion.
• If a required certification is not obtained after three (3) examination attempts, the incumbent has a period of thirty (30) days after the last examination attempt to apply for other job opportunities within the organization.
• If unable to acquire another position within the organization, the incumbent’s employment with Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare, Inc. (TMH) ends.
