Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare, Inc. (TMH) in Tallahassee, FL, seeks an Executive Director of IS Operations and Technology to ensure 24/7 availability of clinical and administrative information systems and to partner with clinical and business leaders for safe, efficient patient care.

The role leads KTLO/RTB activities, drives cybersecurity collaboration, and manages a team of IS managers and engineers while guiding budgets and strategic infrastructure planning in line with I CARE values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related healthcare field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of healthcare IT and operations experience, including five (5) years in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Oversees KTLO/RTB activities; ensures 24/7 availability of clinical, administrative, and operational information systems.
• Collaborates with the security team to mitigate cybersecurity threats.
• Leads and develops a team of IS managers, engineers, and support staff.

As the Executive Director of IS Operations and Technology, you will play a pivotal role in the operational integrity, reliability, and continuous improvement of the health system's technology infrastructure and IS services. Serves as a key partner to clinical and business leaders; balances day-to-day operational excellence with strategic infrastructure planning to support a safe, efficient, and patient-centered care environment.

The Executive Director of IS Operations and Technology is responsible for:

• Oversees all “Keep the Lights On” (KTLO)/“Run the Business” (RTB) activities; ensures clinical, administrative, and operational information systems remain available, secure, and performant 24 hours/day, 7days/week (“24/7”).
• Collaborates with the security team to mitigate cybersecurity threats.
• Leads and develops a team of IS managers, engineers, and support staff members.
• Demonstrating integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence (I CARE values).

• Displays an understanding of diversity. Manages departmental budget. Meet goals/expectations established over the previous year.
