Job summary

Pinellas County Sheriff's Office is seeking an IT Application Development Intern to join the Information Technology Bureau in Largo, FL. The intern will assist with internal software development, testing, SharePoint migrations, and technical documentation while learning from seasoned IT professionals.

Qualifications

Enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s program (IT/CS/related).
Minimum 2.5 GPA required.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Assist with the development, maintenance, and enhancement of internal software applications under senior developers.
Support software testing activities by creating and executing automated and manual test cases (Playwright).
Participate in SharePoint migration projects, content validation, migration, and post-migration testing.
Troubleshoot application issues, document defects, and assist with fixes and enhancements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and support deployments.
