The Washington State Office of the Attorney General is seeking an IT Application Developer – Journey in Tumwater, WA. This permanent, full-time role focuses on building, integrating, and maintaining custom software using C#, ASP.NET MVC/WebForms, JavaScript and SQL/Transact-SQL.

The role requires strong problem-solving, collaboration across teams, and a commitment to delivering secure, high-quality software in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Eight years of professional experience in IT disciplines (consulting, analyzing, designing, programming or maintaining software).
• Associate’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology with six years of related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology with four years of related experience.
• Two years of recent hands-on experience in the listed languages and technologies (C#, ASP.NET MVC/WebForms, JavaScript/HTML/CSS, SQL/Transact-SQL).

Responsibilities

• Provide full-stack software development, design and maintenance for new projects and integrations.
• Learn and implement new coding technologies and techniques.
• Validate new functionality and participate in code reviews and testing.
• Participate in daily scrum meetings, sprint reviews, backlog refinement and product demonstrations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and solve needs.
