Job summary

State of Washington is seeking an IT Application Development Senior Specialist to design, develop, and deliver software solutions that address complex customer needs. This telework/hybrid role supports enterprise mission-critical applications within the Department of Corrections’ environment.

Qualifications

Four years of software development experience.
At least four years in IT including design, coding, and implementation using C#, TypeScript, SQL Server, and SQL Server Reporting Services or latest versions.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
Demonstrated experience in logical data modeling and relational data architecture.
Experience with Dynamics 365, Azure cloud services, or other ERP solutions.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deliver software solutions addressing complex business needs.
Provide advanced technical expertise and mentor other developers.
Ensure system quality through testing and code reviews; develop deployment processes.
Create documentation, automation, and integration with vendor-supplied or cloud solutions.
Lead technical estimates and coordinate with analysts, testers, and end users.
