Versant Power is seeking an IT Analyst II to support, maintain, design and develop information systems serving northern and eastern Maine. The role emphasizes SQL development, CIS/ERP familiarity, and strong reporting capabilities, with a focus on reliable, safe operations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent with at least five years in a client-focused IT support role.
• Working knowledge of CIS or ERP and billing systems.
• Oracle preferred; MSSQL/MySQL relational databases experience.
• Strong SQL skills; PL/SQL preferred.
• Experience with Cognos, TM1, SSRS, or Crystal Reports for reporting.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and ability to work independently or in teams; travel may be required; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Supports the design, development and testing of new applications and upgrades for specified applications and related integration tools.
• Provides technical support, maintenance, development, programming and troubleshooting for CIS and the integration with other systems.
• Create and deliver reports, queries and data analyses for internal customers.
• Supports synchronization of data between GIS/CIS/AMI/MDM.
• Maintains documentation and management reporting to support the department's work plan.
• Participates in disaster recovery planning and asset lifecycle reviews; adheres to change control processes.
