Job summary

Adient plc operates a manufacturing plant in the automotive industry. The IT Analyst on 2nd shift provides services and support to Plant Operations, focusing on availability, performance and efficiency through cost-effective, continuous improvement IT solutions.

Reporting to the IT Manager, you will manage incident response, interface with internal customers, collaborate on MES integrations, and help ensure MODAPTS data collection and reporting accuracy while complying with security standards

Qualifications

• 2+ years IT experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work 2nd shift and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 incident management for plant IT systems.
• Support hardware, networking, software and shop-floor systems.
• Coordinate with vendors and corporate for installations.
• Assist with MES integrations and MODAPTS data reporting.
• Maintain IT documentation and security compliance.

JOB DESCRIPTIONSummaryTeam member of the Information Technology (IT) department at a Manufacturing Plant in the Automotive industry. Provide services and support to Plant Operations maximizing availability, performance and efficiency. Focus on cost effective solutions with a continuous improvement mindset.Reporting RelationshipsDirect report to the IT Manager.Roles & ResponsibilitiesIT ManagementConsult with plant management on continuous improvement ideas and fulfill requests.Key team member of projects to deliver new initiatives and/or service improvements.Assist with problem management resolution and permanent corrective actions.Interface with internal and external Adient Customers.Support IT tasks related to launches and communicating updates at readiness reviews.Other duties as assigned by managementIT Infrastructure & ApplicationsResponsible for the daily operations of computer systems including but not limited to the following:Perform Level 1, incident management, support for hardware, communications, networking, software and shop-floor systems ran at the manufacturing facility.
