Job Summary

The IT Administrator will serve as the first point of contact for internal customers. This role involves performing routine helpdesk tasks, installing and supporting hardware and software, and handling general IT administrative duties. Additionally, the position supports ongoing global IT initiatives. The ideal candidate should be a self-motivated individual with a strong eagerness to learn and the capability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Principal Tasks

• Desktop / laptop installation, configuration, and maintenance
• Server installation, configuration, and maintenance
• General IT Infrastructure installation, configuration, and maintenance
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and quickly identify and remedy issues
• Familiarity with IT security principles, vulnerabilities, and defenses
• Experience working with R&D engineering teams is preferred

Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience

• Education: High School Diploma minimum
• 2-5 years' experience in a desktop support role in a medium-sized organization managing multiple desktops and laptops
• Basic IPv4 network knowledge
• Proficiency with Windows 10 / 11
• Familiarity with Windows Active Directory
• OS patch installation and management
• Experience with Office 365, Intune, and Teams
• Ability to evaluate, create, or update internal processes and procedures
• Strong troubleshooting skills for problems and network issues
• Linux knowledge is a plus

Requirements & Work Environment

• Hybrid work schedule, 3 days in the office
• Physical requirements include standing, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling. Ability to lift, move, or carry up to 50 pounds regularly. Vision abilities include close and distance vision.
