Job summary

Gauss Management Research & Engineering (GMRE Inc.) is seeking an experienced Information System Security Officer for the 412 EWG/JSE in Edwards, CA. The role covers AIS/IA requirements, security documentation, and cross‑functional project support.

You will help plan future technologies, manage security programs, and coordinate with DoD and IC directives while providing strategic guidance to project leadership and staff.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an Information System Security Officer for the 412th Test Wing Electronic Warfare Group Joint Simulation Environment.
• Support management and integration of SAP and SCI programs.
• Provide strategic advice and technical guidance to project leadership.
• Obtain and maintain a DOD Security + Certification within six months.
• Develop and review system security plans and C&A documentation.
• Coordinate with suppliers and government organizations.
• Develop and validate risk management and project plans.
