Job summary

SOSi is seeking a seasoned Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to lead security for mission-critical IT operations at Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam, Honolulu. You will own the RMF lifecycle, identify vulnerabilities, and implement resilient controls for over 5,000 users across the Pacific theater.

Candidates must hold an in-scope SECRET clearance and have DoD protocol fluency, with strong communication skills to deliver executive-level insights and coordinate across functional teams in

Qualifications

• Active in-scope SECRET clearance.
• Bachelor’s Degree in CS/Cybersecurity/IT, Software Engineering or related fields.
• Six years of experience in cybersecurity, IA, systems engineering or RMF-related activities.
• Thorough understanding of NIST 800-53r5, RMF, EO 14028 and M-22-09.
• Prior experience with eMASS.
• Strong communication skills and cross-functional coordination.

Responsibilities

• Assist ISSM in formulating and upholding information security programs and policies.
• Maintain secure systems for classified processing and administer security auditing.
• Develop and supervise security policy implementation for operational information systems.
• Manage eMASS packages with security authorizations.
• Coordinate inspections, tests, and reviews of information system security.
• Contribute expertise to respond to security incidents and protect assets.
• Support ACAS-based vulnerability management and patching.
• Review STIGs quarterly and ensure compliance.
• Ensure configurations align with CM policies for hardware/software.
