Job summary

Leidos Dynetics, operating under the Corporate Information Security Office, seeks an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support classified information systems in Huntsville, AL. The ISSO will perform security monitoring, RMF authorization artifacts, and risk remediation under the ISSM and cybersecurity leads.

This onsite role allows up to 20% telework and requires an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret after hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of cybersecurity, information technology, information assurance, or information systems security experience.
• One or more DoD 8140/DCWF aligned certifications, or ability to satisfy via education/training/experience.
• Familiarity with RMF and cybersecurity control implementation, assessment, or compliance.
• Experience in cybersecurity, information systems security, system administration, hardening, vulnerability management, or audit/compliance.
• Working knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems and security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Perform security monitoring and compliance reviews of classified information systems and report deficiencies and risks to the ISSM or cybersecurity lead.
• Support RMF lifecycle by developing, reviewing, and maintaining authorization artifacts and evidence within BoE.
• Assist with implementation, assessment, and continuous monitoring of security controls per SSPs and procedures.
• Conduct technical security assessments including STIG, SCAP, vulnerability scanning, and config reviews.
• Document findings and work with teams to support remediation and validation activities.
• Review CM requests for hardware/software/config changes and ensure proper documentation.
