Leidos Dynetics, operating under the Corporate Information Security Office in Huntsville, AL, seeks an Information System Security Officer to support RMF-based security for classified systems. You will work under the ISSM, coordinating with engineers, admins, and program staff to sustain system authorizations and compliance.

The role emphasizes hands-on security assessments, system hardening, vulnerability management, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of cybersecurity or information systems security experience.
• Familiarity with RMF, NIST SP 800-53 Rev 5, and DISA STIGs.
• Experience with security controls assessment, authorization packages, and continuous monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day cybersecurity oversight and compliance of classified systems.
• Maintain authorization artifacts and evidence within the BoE and eMASS/drafts.
• Perform security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and configuration reviews.
• Review audit logs and assist with remediation and reporting under the ISSM.
