Job summary

Quantum Research International, Inc. in Huntsville, AL seeks a mid-level Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support an Army ECMA program.

You will maintain the system's RMF posture, create and maintain security artifacts, and coordinate with government ISSM/SO to ensure continued compliance. Role requires RMF/NIST 800-53 expertise, DoD 8510, and 4+ years ISSO/ISSE experience; candidate should be US citizen with SCI eligibility and hold Security+ or CISSP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5 years equivalent work experience.
• 4 years ISSO/ISSE experience.
• DoD 8510 / NIST 800-53 RMF implementation knowledge.
• Must be US citizen with eligibility for SCI designation.
• Security+ CE or equivalent; CISSP or other certifications are a plus.
• Familiar with DISA eMASS and RMF documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain security documentation (CMP, AMP, ISCP, IRP, BIA, PIA, SSP, CONOPS).
• Identify applicable STIGs/SRGs for IS technologies and coordinate with SO/ISSM.
• Advise on RMF alignment and security controls across projects.
• Provide security design guidance across RMF phases for proper controls.
• Oversee daily security operations: logs, vulnerabilities, and remediation; manage POA&M in eMASS.
• Lead CM processes as CM facilitator and CCB voting member; prepare SIAs.
