Job summary

G2 Ops, Inc. is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support the PMW 770 program and cybersecurity activities for cloud-based and classified information systems.

You will contribute to information assurance, RMF, and A&A efforts while collaborating with cybersecurity, engineering, and customer teams. The role requires active DoD Secret clearance at start and the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or managerial-related discipline with 2+ years in a security-related field (or HS diploma with four additional years).
• 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience with RMF and/or prior with DIACAP.
• Experience supporting cybersecurity, IA, engineering, T&E, SCA, C&A, and/or A&A activities.
• Familiarity with security policies and guidance for ATO requirements.
• Ability to evaluate security solutions and maintain security posture.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• IAT/IAM Level I certification, such as Security+.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance at start and ability to obtain TS/SCI.

Responsibilities

• Support IA and cybersecurity processes for cloud-based and classified systems.
• Support RMF and A&A activities to achieve and maintain ATO approvals.
• Prepare and maintain cybersecurity artifacts and documentation.
• Evaluate security solutions and configurations for compliance.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining applicable security controls.
• Monitor and sustain the security posture of information systems.
• Apply DoD cybersecurity policies and guidance across operations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve security issues and maintain authorizations.
