Job summary

G2 Ops in San Diego, CA is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support the PMW 770 program.

You’ll contribute to RMF, A&A, risk assessment, and security controls for cloud-based and classified systems, collaborating across engineering, cybersecurity, and customer teams.

A BS in a technical field with 3+ years in security and an active DoD Secret clearance (TS/SCI eligibility) are required; in-office work with flexible scheduling is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or managerial discipline with 2+ years in a security-related field; higher years if no degree.

Responsibilities

• Support IA and cybersecurity processes for cloud-based and classified systems.
• Support RMF and A&A activities to achieve and maintain Authority to Operate (ATO).
• Prepare, review, and maintain cybersecurity artifacts and traceability documentation.
• Evaluate security solutions and system configurations to verify compliance with security requirements for processing classified information.
• Support the implementation, assessment, and maintenance of applicable security controls.
• Monitor and help maintain the operational security posture of assigned information systems and programs.
• Apply applicable DoD cybersecurity policies, standards, and guidance throughout system authorization and operational activities.
• Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, test and evaluation, Security Control Assessor, program, and customer stakeholders to resolve security issues and maintain authorization requirements.
