Job summary

Credence is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support RMF-based A&A activities for the USMS P30 system. The role involves advising on security posture, developing security artifacts, and coordinating compliance across multiple networks and applications.

The candidate should have a Secret clearance, a bachelor’s degree, and 8+ years of relevant experience with CISSP/CISA/CISM certifications. DOJ-related security policies and strong communication skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Secret clearance required.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience.
• Certification(s) in CISSP, CISA, or CISM are required.
• Experience with DOJ security policies and RMF is expected.

Responsibilities

• Advise system owners on security posture and risk.
• Perform A&A on classified and unclassified networks per RMF.
• Develop and update artifacts for control families (SSP, Contingency, Incident Response).
• Lead compliance reviews, tracking, and continuous monitoring across networks and apps.
• Develop Security Plans (SSP) and participate in risk analyses.
• Create and review Security Assessment Reports and POA&M documents.
• Support Incident Response and Contingency planning.
