Job summary

RedTrace Technologies, located at Schriever AFB, CO, seeks an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) II. This role requires TS clearance with SCI eligibility and US citizenship.

Salary range is $99,000–$114,000, with final compensation based on qualifications and location. The ISSO will manage security operations for DoD SAP environments, coordinating with ISSM/ISO and handling authorization documentation.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of RMF package development experience.
• Experience as System/Network Administrator or ISSO.
• SAP experience.
• DoD 8570.01-M IAM Level II training.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the ISSM in meeting duties and responsibilities.
• Prepare, review, and update authorization packages.
• Ensure procedures are in place for clearing, sanitizing, and destroying hardware/media.
• Notify ISSM of changes that might affect the authorization determination of the information system(s).
• Conduct periodic reviews of information systems to ensure compliance with the security authorization package.
• Coordinate changes to hardware, software, or firmware with the ISSM and AO/DAO prior to the change.
• Monitor system recovery processes to ensure security features and procedures are restored and functioning correctly.
• Ensure all IS security-related documentation is current and accessible to properly authorized individuals.
• Ensure audit records are collected, reviewed, and documented (including anomalies).
• Attend required technical and security training relative to duties.
• Execute the cyber security portion of the self-inspection and provide security coordination.
• Identify cyber security vulnerabilities and assist with countermeasures.
• Prepare reports on the status of security safeguards applied to computer systems.
• Perform ISSO duties in support of in-house and external customers.
• Conduct security impact analysis activities and provide to the ISSM on configuration management changes.
