Job summary

Targeted Solutions, LLC is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to manage security for DoD systems, including SAP/SCI environments. The role collaborates with ISSM and ISO, maintains authorization documentation, and oversees day-to-day security operations.

The ideal candidate has RMF experience, DoD 8570.01-M IAM II certification or equivalent, and capability to work across system security disciplines. TS/SCI eligibility and willingness to polygraph are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience developing RMF packages or evidence files.
• DoD 8570.01-M IAM Level II (or equivalent) required within 6 months.
• Active TS/SCI clearance or eligibility for SAP access preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop physical or logical topologies for a system.
• Prepare, review, and update authorization packages.
• Coordinate changes with ISSM and AO/DAO before implementation.
• Monitor security controls and ensure proper restoration of security features.
• Conduct security training and awareness for personnel.
• Identify cyber security vulnerabilities and support countermeasure implementation.
• Prepare status reports on security safeguards for computer systems.
