Job summary

gTANGIBLE Corporation in Suitland, MD seeks an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) II to support SAP security for DoD programs. The role involves maintaining RMF artifacts, coordinating with ISSM/ISO, and ensuring proper security operations for sensitive systems.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s or higher with 2–5 years of related security experience, SAP experience, and DoD 8570.01-M eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with relevant experience in information systems security.
• Experience developing RMF packages or body of evidence.
• Prior performance in System/Network Admin or ISSO roles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain physical or logical topologies for systems.
• Prepare, review, and update authorization packages.
• Ensure procedures for clearing, sanitizing, destroying hardware/media.
• Review system information and ensure security controls.
• Coordinate changes with ISSM/AO/DAO before implementation.
• Monitor recovery processes and secure restoration of systems.
• Maintain current security documentation and audit trails.
• Attend technical/security training relevant to duties.
• Identify cyber vulnerabilities and assist with countermeasures.
• Prepare status reports on security safeguards.
• Perform ISSO duties for internal/external customers.
